Shams of AHUMI – Digital Academic Library and Repository
Shams of AHUMI is the official digital library and academic repository of AHUMI British University, proudly serving as a center for intellectual illumination and academic dissemination. Named after the Arabic word “Shams” (meaning “sun”), the library reflects our commitment to enlightenment through knowledge and open access to scholarly excellence.

Digital Preservation & Backup
To ensure long-term access and digital preservation, Shams of AHUMI is actively working toward integration with the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS systems. These partnerships will protect the repository's content against digital loss, ensuring stability and trust for generations to come.
Peer Review & Quality Control
While the repository includes both peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed materials, all submissions undergo administrative and academic screening for accuracy, relevance, and alignment with AHUMI’s academic quality standards. Authors are encouraged to clearly state the review status of their submissions.

The library is maintained and supported by AHUMI British University and benefits from the voluntary academic contributions of AHUMI’s distinguished faculty. Institutional and external support is welcomed and acknowledged where applicable.
